licking the milk dud

Okay. Before we get ahead of the head in question here, let's first introduce Joe "Oz" Osbourne. Joe originally came to us not so long long ago in 2012, just prior to our undertaking the filming for Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa, when he arrived on our production doorstep as a possible First Assistant Director, a/k/a the hard-ass right-hand man of the Director. He'd had previous experience working with fairly involved hidden camera productions, though none so "exceptional" or "special" as our rag-tag outfit. But Joe went with it, rolling with the dumb and liking the overall vibe, and he survived the Bad Grandpa ordeal with only one near death experience officially making him "one of us" for all freakish intents and production purposes.

Anyway, on our last day of shooting for Bad Grandpa in Raleigh, North Carolina, which many assumed then would be our wrap on out-of-state filming forays with the primary unit*, Jeff Tremaine up and licked the "milk dud," as he'd come to affectionately dub Joe's shaved bald head, which more often than not resides beneath a ballcap. So, as you can imagine, no small amount of sweat is exuded from said pate with fermented hints of whatever Joe imbibed or ingested the night before, and after being bottled up beneath his hat after a stressful day of shooting... well, it makes for one hell of a pickled sheen. A quick clip of this first raw lick appeared in the credits of Bad Grandpa, but it has since become a tradition on most all the shoots in which Joe has acted as Tremaine's formal 1st AD, including a recent Bud Light gig down in Florida where humidity is king and sweat is musty.

Why not a Raisinette or a Whopper? Good question, glad you asked, the answer being a Milk Dud has a characteristic ridge that Joe's bare skull bears as well.

* Not that it matters much, but it wasn't. We went back to Charlotte in June 2013 to tie up some loose ends by day and play cornhole by night at Connolly's on Fifth.
